DONOR INSIGHTS

The Donor Insights Research & Planning Service is the newest initiative of the Arts Consulting Group. Its primary goals are to help organizations 1) discover their best individual donor prospects to improving annual, major, endowment, capital, and planned giving efforts, and 2) target new and increased funding from private, corporate, community and family foundation sources. Donor Insights is further outlined below:

Individual Donor Research & Planning

The primary objective of Arts Consulting Group’s work is to electronically screen your organization’s selected donor, subscriber, member, single ticket, or other mailing list records against ten public information databases. When data is exactly matched, the resulting information may report on your prospective donor’s financial position, community connections, board experience, property ownership, age, public and private company ownership, and/or political contributions. Pulled from over 200 million current household records, this information can then be used to determine potential sources of new or increased contributed income from individuals in the form of annual, capital, endowment, or planned gifts.

The data that ACG uses come from its unique collaboration with the leading provider of database screening services. ACG’s rates can save organizations 60%-80% off market prices with the most accurate and current aggregated data received from:

Lexis-Nexis Real Estate®

Dun & Bradstreet®

Marquis Who’s Who®

CorpTech Database of Hi-Tech Companies®

Thomson Wealth Management Corporate Insider Traders

Vickers Database of Current SEC Insiders®

Federal Election Commission (FEC) Database

ECHELON™ Liquid Asset Identification System

InSource Date of Birth Overlay®

IRS Exempt Database

After the research is completed, we present you with a printed report listing as much of the above information as can be obtained through our screening services in the U.S. P!N estimates that approximately 60%-70% of the records submitted will result in an exact match to one or more of the financial databases listed above. You can then download the data into your own fundraising system for ease of use by your staff. Additionally, you have the option to implement the findings or Arts Consulting Group can work with you to develop a strategic fundraising plan that helps you achieve your specific fundraising goals.

Foundation Research & Planning
With more than 78,000 private, corporate, community and family foundations across the U.S., many organizations miss opportunities for funding because they lack critical information prior to making a proposal. In some cases this means that the organization cannot apply again for at least one year, leaving a huge funding gap. In other cases the organization doesn’t even realize that they are eligible to apply for funds from a certain foundation because they simply don’t know that it exists.

Arts Consulting Group provides the crucial information that you need in order to effectively cultivate the foundation prospect in advance of the application and to ensure that you’re meeting the deadlines and specifications of your prospective donor. We talk to you about your special programs, demographics, and any other angle that may give you an edge with a funder. Then we do the research to provide you with as much of the following information about your top foundation prospects as is available:

Foundation Name

Contact Information

Foundation’s Board Members

Grant Deadlines

Application Information

Asset Information

Giving History

Number & Size of Past Gifts

Other Info Based on Past Experience

After the research is completed, you have the option to implement the findings or we can work with you to develop a strategic fundraising plan to help you achieve your goals.
